We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead and drive the evolution of their enterprise architecture across all products, platforms, and cloud environments. This role is pivotal in enabling scalability, unifying systems, and supporting strategic business transformation. The architect will play a central role in designing secure, scalable, and forward-thinking solutions across their platform and infrastructure. Essential Functions
- A truly influential and experienced leader who will take ownership of the architecture across the entire organization, report directly to the Executive VP of Engineering, and drive architectural and technological excellence.
- Define and maintain an enterprise architecture vision that supports business goals, growth, and scalability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product Management, Security, and Business stakeholders) to align technical decisions with strategic objectives.
- Lead the development of reference architectures, technology roadmaps, and architectural standards across all forward-looking products and platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that align with company’s strategic goals.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and seamless integration across systems and services.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Oversee and guide architectural governance processes and technical review boards.
- Operate within a multi-cloud, multi-product environment shaped by recent acquisitions — unifying disparate architectures, driving simplification, and reducing technical debt.
- Mentor engineers and support teams in adopting best practices for building scalable and secure systems.
Experience and Knowledge
- Progressive experience in software engineering or architecture roles.
- Experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role within SaaS or EdTech environments.
- Expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, API gateway design, DevOps practices, data pipelines, and enterprise service mesh architecture.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, integration strategies, and security frameworks.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of influencing senior leadership.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and adapting to evolving business needs is a strong plus.
- A pragmatic strategist — able to zoom in to guide teams and zoom out to shape vision.
