Global Security & Compliance Specialist
Location: Krakow or hybrid

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

  • Own the delivery of Security & Compliance support and maintenance across SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, Onboarding 2.0, Succession, and Compensation, serving all operating companies (OpCos).
  • Act as the custodian of the global solution design, ensuring the integrity and consistency of SuccessFactors security standards across both Business-as-Usual activities and project initiatives.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Role-Based Permissions (RBP), leading the design, configuration, and ongoing optimization of security roles.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand access requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and compliant role designs.
  • Participate in testing activities and security review cycles, ensuring solutions meet quality, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvements to the security model, balancing maintainability, scalability, and alignment with the global template and RBP best practices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain role concepts, security processes, and operational routines across the SuccessFactors landscape.
  • Ensure adherence to company’s security standards, governance policies, and GDPR requirements.
  • Manage access provisioning for non-dynamic role assignments across all SuccessFactors instances.
  • Provide functional expertise and support for complex security- and role-related incidents, troubleshooting issues and identifying sustainable solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for Functional Specialists, offering guidance on security, authorization, and compliance-related topics.
  • Lead monthly Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) reviews and oversee role validation and RBP testing activities for incidents, system changes, and project implementations.

  • Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strong functional expertise across multiple SAP SuccessFactors modules, with the ability to understand how they work together within the broader HR technology landscape.
  • A solid understanding of end-to-end HR processes and the technologies that support them.
  • Understanding of digital products and solutions integrated with SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strong business acumen combined with analytical thinking, operational excellence, and a practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and timely delivery using the appropriate tools and channels.
  • Stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence, engage, and actively listen to diverse perspectives.
  • Well-developed process management and project coordination capabilities, with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with Functional Owners and business stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, enabling you to identify root causes and deliver sustainable solutions.
